Italian Mauro Galvano conquered the WBC super middleweight championship against  Argentinian  Darío Walter Matteoni  by UD in 12 rounds. The fight was  in Montecarlo. The title was vacant and they clashed at the  Salle Des Etoiles In Montecarlo, Monaco. The Referee was Vince Delgado and the judges were Tony Catellano, Jerry Roth and Bob Logist.
