WBC Woman: Kathy Duva

In 1979 Kathy Duva helped start Main Events, a renowned boxing promotional company in New Jersey, USA. The widow of Dan Duva, Kathy took over the company when he passed, and grew it to the force it is today.

Thanks to Kathy, many world champions, like Sergey Kovalev, Zab Judah,  Fernando Vargas, to name a few, have passed through their doors. 

She was the formable power behind the NBC Boxing Series, Fight Night on NBC, as well as PPV on ESPN.

Coming at time when powerful women were a rarity in the sport, Kathy is tough and articulate but always, a heart of gold.
