WBC Cares expands in Canada

World Boxing Council President, Mauricio Sulaiman and WBC Cares Chair, Jill Diamond are proud to welcome a new WBC Cares Chapter to Canada.

WBC Cares Canada Chapter will be co Chaired by two dynamic women, whose history in boxing and philanthropy excel.

Shana Otter and Michelle Ponich share a love of our sport and of the community. Undeterred by the pandemic they are already planing events and taking part in live and online actions.

WBC Cares started in 2006 and is today run by compassionate volunteers,  who for the love of their sport and community reach out and assist others in need. Youth centers, gyms, schools, disaster sites, our athletes and members are there with help and inspiration.

Shana and Michelle have been a part of our mission of serving others. We can’t wait to see what they accomplish. The future looks bright for Canadian Cares!
