WBC Cares Puerto Rico Chapter: Mercedez Vasquez

Guided by the leadership of Mercedez Vasquez, WBC Cares Puerto Rico has been helping  through hurricanes, earthquakes, power outages and water shortages.

They’ve traveled to prisons, hospitals, held the first WBC Amateur Tournament on the island and have extended a caring, helping  hand to ailing fighters.

This month, despite the pandemic…

– WBC Cares PR Chair Merecedez and  WBC, Champ Juan Laporte honored our heroes and the medical staff, at Southern HealthCare  with a luncheon.

They celebrated and thanked those who dedicated countless hours to the underserved  people of Puerto Rico through tragedies and now Covid. They distributed 60 WBC Cares PP packages ( sanitizer & masks ) to the families in that town .

We stand with Mercedez and her courageous, constant,  selfless dedication to the people of Puerto Rico, whatever and throughout.
