WBC Cares, Japan Chapter is pleased that WBC Cares Kids events with former WBC Champions were great success with 80+ kids’ participation in each event.
The youngsters train to gain experiences in spite of the circumstances of Covid 19 which has radically changed the boxing environment. Gyms being closed, boxing events have been cancelled.
The full package contains:
1) Teaching session on technique
2) Talk session by Champions
3) Meet the WBC Champions: Photo session, Autograph session
1st event held in Saga, Kyusyu on November 22nd, 2020 (SUN) with additional attending Champions:
Takashi Koshikawa : former WBC World Female FeatherWeight Champion
Yuko Kuroki : former WBC World Minimum Weight Champion
2nd event held in Osaka on December 13th, 2020(SUN) with additional attending Champions:
Yu Kimura: former WBC FlyWeight World Champion
Naoko Fujioka: former WBC World Female Minimum Weight Champion
Malcom Tunacao: former WBC World FlyWeight Champion
We plan to continue holding this kind of events in Japan next year as well.
Eight great former Champions so far, have prepared the video letters to those children in the World including boxing legend, Tsuyoshi Hamada, former Super LightWeight World Champion.
