On March 15, the World Boxing Council silver bantamweight champion, Chilean Daniela Asenjo, will defend her crown against dangerous Mexican Victoria Torres at the Municipal Coliseum of Valdivia, Chile.
Daniela, who won the WBC Silver title in Turkey, assured that she is well prepared to offer a great fight in front of her own people.
While Victoria, who is a cancer survivor, is reported to be good and ready to be crowned the new champion in Chilean lands.
This Thursday both passed the official weigh-in. Daniela Asenjo registered 53.5 kilograms, while Victoria Torres weighed in at 52.8 kilograms.
