Saul “Canelo” Álvarez debuted in 2005 and has built a career crammed with the distinction of triumph.  He has conquered the super welterweight, middleweight, super middleweight and light heavyweight divisions.

With invigorated ambition, Canelo is preparing  to deliver a lightning strike,  via strokes of brilliance to bolster his status as The Portrait of The Noble Art.

Jaime Munguia comes to this fight, with his heart set upon becoming  the undisputed champion at 168 pounds.

All six of Canelo’s brothers are boxers. They established a Guinness Record by fighting  on the same card, on the same night!

Saul`s eldest daughter is called Emily Cinnamon Álvarez, since Canelo decided to name her after his ring moniker.

He is the first undisputed Mexican world champion.

Canelo sold ice popsicles  when he was a child to help the family business.

Jaime Munguía debuted at 16 years.

He has always been characterized by his calm, unflappable personality and his prudence plus respect towards each of his rivals.

His father was his first trainer, he is now trained by legend Freddie Roach.

From the age of 8 he already knew that his dream was to be a fighter and world champion. At this age he began boxing.

He is undefeated,  and in this fight, he will seek to conquer the second division of his career.
