It`s almost impossible to believe that an entire year has slipped on by since the passing of All Time Great Marvin Hagler.
As long as there´s Boxing, all true fans will forever remember, marvel and cherish the wondrous legacy of magnificent Marvin Hagler. So glad and thankful we all are, that he came our way.
Marvin fought from 1973 to 1987 tearing through the middleweight ranks. He won sixty two fights with fifty two KO`s, two draws and lost three times. Two of those were tidily and duly avenged. He was the undisputed middleweight champion from 1980-87, with twelve successful defences. His KO record as undisputed champion was 78 percent. It is the all time record.
One year after his passing, It is still hurts deeply that he has gone, and long before his time. Marvin was a beloved WBC Champion. He attended many Conventions. He was, is and forever will be tremendously popular. A stellar example of dedication, unquenchable willpower, perseverance and focused will to win. He became an icon the hard way.
With fondness, we remember that winning smile, the wry and dry wit, keen intelligence plus sparkling sense of humor, accompanied by a mischievous chuckle. The one hundred and ten percent undivided attention to training, and his craft, creating a unique legacy which will stand the test of time, through the decades leading to centuries.
The life of a great man, simply cannot be described in an article or even a book! But it can be honored. The measure of a person is encapsulated in their lifelong achievements.
Marvin is irreplacable, and for that reason he will always be and remain in our thoughts and memories from here to eternity.
