Pablo Cesar Cano joins the Clean Boxing Program

Ranked number two in the super lightweight division, Pablo Cesar Cano, has completed his registration form for  the Clean Boxing Program,  and we want to acknowledge his willingness and interest to be part of this initiative.

 The  priority of the WBC is to work with education and awareness to help all people involved in sports learn the danger of using substances to enhance performance (PED), which create terrible  problems in the health of athletes. It is vitally important  to see the webinar, which is available on all WBC and CBP websites, since it shows specific information to know as well as understand the risks and dangers of using these substances.

 Pablo Cesar Cano as well as the other boxers and world champions who have enrolled in the program are wonderful examples. It speaks volumes to us about their concern about the welfare and respect of our beloved sport.

 One  of the biggest problems in international boxing is the lack of uniformity around the protection issues of fighters and their opponents. The CBP project aims to standardize the procedures to provide security to those who risk so much when they enter the ring. 

Pablo Cesar Cano, stated that all boxers must comply with this requirement because it`s for the benefit and well being of everyone.
