1979.- At the Sports Arena in Los Angeles, California, American Danny Lopez defended his WBC featherweight title by knocking out Dominican José Caba in the third round.

1979.- At the Empire Pool in Wembley, British Maurice Hope defended his WBC super welterweight title by knocking out the American Mike Baker in the seventh round.

1993.- American Tracy Patterson knocked out Mexican Daniel Zaragoza in the seventh round in Poughkeepsie, New York. In this fight the WBC super bantamweight title was disputed.

1995.- Russian Yuri Arbachakov defended his WBC flyweight title by defeating Thai Chatchai Sasakul by decision. The fight took place in Tokyo, Japan.

2005.- At the Yokohama Arena, Japanese Hozumi Hasegawa defended his WBC bantamweight title by knocking out Mexican Gerardo Martinez in the seventh round.

2009.- Canadian Jean Pascal defended his WBC light heavyweight title by knocking out Italian Silvio Branco, in Montreal, Canada.
