1982.-  Mexican Rafael “Bazooka” Limón conquered the WBC super featherweight title by defeating Filipino Rolando Navarrete by decision at The Aladdin in Las Vegas.

1988.- Canadian Don Lalonde defended his WBC light heavyweight title by knocking out Trinidad and Tobago native Leslie Stewart in the fifth round in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.

2009.- Thai Oleydong Sithsanerchai defended his WBC straw-weight title by defeating Indonesian Mohamed Rachman by decision in Phuket, Thailand.

2010.- Ukrainian Vitali Klitschko defended his WBC heavyweight title by knocking out Polish Albert Sosnowski in the tenth round in Nordhein-Westfalen, Germany.

2016.- British Tony Bellew was crowned WBC cruiserweight champion by knocking out Congolese Ilunga Makabu in 3 rounds. The match took place in Liverpool, Merseyside, England.

2021.- Filipino Flash Nonito Donaire knocked out French Nordine Oubaali in 4 rounds in Carson, California. With this victory, Nonito won the WBC bantamweight title.

2021.- American Devin Haney defended his WBC lightweight title by defeating the Venezuelan Jorge Linares by decision. The match took place in Las Vegas, Nevada.
