2005.- Korean Masamori Tokuyama defeated Japanese Katsushige Kawashima by decision in Osaka, Japan. In this fight the WBC super flyweight title was disputed.

2007.-Japanese Daisuke Naito defeated Pongsaklek Wonjongkam by decision in Tokyo, Japan, conquering the WBC flyweight champion.

2009.- In a battle between Mexicans, Tomas Rojas knocked out Everardo Morales in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico. In this fight the WBC super flyweight title was at stake.
