Felix Trinidad handed Fernando Vargas his first defeat in a super welterweight unification showdown.

The Puerto Rican legend floored Vargas twice in the opening round before he was sent to the canvas himself in the fourth.

“Tito” battled back to knockout Vargas in the 12th, claiming his 39th straight win.
