 South Korean, Jung Koo Chang, one of the greatest fighters of his country, defended the WBC light flyweight championship, defeating Japanese challenger, Hideyuki Ohashi, by TKO in 8 rounds. the fight was at the Korakuen Hall of Tokyo, Japan. The third man in the ring was Filipino Carlos Padilla. The Judges were Horacio Castilla, James Jen Kin and Larry Nadayag.
