1978.- At the Juan Ramón Loubriel Stadium in Bayamón, Puerto Rican Wilfredo Gómez knocked out Mexican Juan Antonio López in the seventh round, defending his WBC super bantamweight title.

1988.- At the Miami Beach Convention Center, Mexican Gilberto Román defeated Colombian José Bebis Rojas by decision, defending his WBC super flyweight title.

1989.- At the National Tennis Center in Melbourne, Australian Jeff Fenech defeated Mexican Marcos Villasana, defending his WBC featherweight title.

1995.- In an entertaining combat between American heavyweights Oliver Mccall defeated Larry Holmes by decision defending his WBC heavyweight title. The match took place at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

1995.- Mexican Julio César Chávez defeated Italian Giovanni Parisi by decision at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. With this victory Chávez defended his WBC super lightweight title.

2006.- Mexican Jorge “Travieso” Arce knocked out Nicaraguan Rosendo Álvarez in 6 rounds at Las Vegas, Nevada, conquering the WBC interim flyweight title.

2011.- Mexican Jhonny González conquered the WBC featherweight title, by knocking out Japanese Hozumi Hasegawa in the sixth round at the World Memorial Hall in Kobe.

2011.- At the World Memorial Hall in Kobe, Japan, local fighter Toshiaki Nishioka knocked out Argentine Mauricio Muñoz in the sixth round, defending his WBC super bantamweight title.

2011.- Japanese Takahiro Aoh knocked out Mexican Humberto “Betillo” Gutiérrez in the fourth round in Kobe, Japan. In this fight the WBC super featherweight title was at stake.

2013.- In Tokyo, Japan, Shinsuke Yamanaka knocked out Filipino Malcolm Tunacao in 12 rounds, defending his WBC bantamweight title.

2013.- Japanese Takashi Miura conquered the WBC super featherweight title, by knocking out Mexican Gamaliel Díaz in 9 rounds in Tokyo, Japan.
