1971.- In Inglewood, California, Ruben “Púas” Olivares defeated Jesus “Chucho” Castillo by decision. In this fight the WBC bantamweight title was at stake.

1977.- In Tokyo, Japan, Thai Saensak Muangsurin defended the WBC super lightweight title, knocking out Japanese Ishimatsu Suzuki in 6 rounds.

1995.- At the Rainbow Hall in Nagoya, Japan, Yausei Yakushiji defended his title by defeating Mexican Cuauhtemoc Gomez, defending his WBC bantamweight title.

2005.- Frenchman Jean Marc Mormeck defeated Guyana’s Wayne Braithwaite by decision, winning the WBC cruiserweight title. The match took place at Worcester, Massachusetts.

2011.- The Polish Krysztof Wlodarczyk defeated Puerto Rican Francisco Palacios by decision in Bydgoszcz, Poland. With this win Wlodarczyk defended his WBC cruiserweight title.
