1964.- At the Municipal Auditorium in New Orleans, American Willie Pastrano knocked out Argentine Gregorio Peralta in 6 rounds. In this fight the WBC light heavyweight title was at stake.

1965.- At the National Stadium in Panama City, the local fighter Ismael Laguna defeated Puerto Rican Carlos Ortiz, by decision in 15 rounds. With this victory Ismael conquered the WBC lightweight title.

1992.- Julian Jackson from the Virgin Islands, defended his WBC middle title by knocking out American Ron Collins in 5 rounds. The fight took place in the Toreo de Cuatro Caminos, State of Mexico.

1992.- In the Cuatro Caminos Bullring in the State of Mexico, Mexican Julio César Chávez defended his WBC super lightweight title by knocking out Puertorrican Ángel Hernández in 5 rounds.

2004.- In a fight between Americans, Cory Spinks defeated Zab Judah by decision at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. With this victory Cory defended his WBC welterweight title.

2010.- American Andre Berto defended his WBC welterweight title by knocking out Puerto Rican Carlos “Indio” Quintana in 8 rounds at the Bank Atlantic Center in Sunrise, Florida.
