Nicolson and Álvarez disputing the WBC Silver Belt

Australia’s rising star and Commonwealth featherweight champion Skye Nicolson will fight Spain’s Tania Alvarez for the WBC Silver Belt at New York’s Madison Square Garden Theater on Saturday.

In a duel of the undefeated, Skye (5-0-0, 0 KO) and Tania (7-0-0, 1 KO) will be part of a great card presented by Matchroom, which will be broadcast on DAZN, where the champions Amanda Serrano and Alycia Baumgardner will top the bill.

Twenty-seven-year-old Australian boxer Skye Nicolson has already stood out among fans when she won bronze at the World Championships in Astana in 2016 and she dominated the Commonwealth Games two years later. Last year she entered the ring as a professional for the first time and achieved a total of five wins in the first year.
Tania Álvarez, has been in the professional field since October 2021 and has had fights where she has demonstrated her exceptional technique.
