Mikaeljan Will defend his WBC title against Rozicki

The Armenian Norair Mikaeljan (27-2-0, 17 Ko’s) will defend his World Boxing Council cruiserweight title against tough Canadian Ryan Rozicki (20-1-0, 19 Ko’s) on June 7 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida.

Mikaeljan won the WBC cruiserweight title by knocking out Congolese Ilunga Junior Makabu in the third round in November of last year.

Rozicki comes into this fight after surprisingly knocking out the experienced and hard hitting Nigerian Olanrewaju Durodola in the first round.
