Why is mental well-being important?
We often think that the most important thing is to build a healthy, aesthetic or healthy body and although it is definitely something important, let’s not forget the mental and emotional part, it is about creating our own tools and strategies to better manage stress, manage our emotions of a friendlier way and live even more in harmony, taking into consideration that the support of a mental health professional will always be of great help in situations that we want to change, improve, face and resolve.
It is important to to normalize self-care regardless of sex or gender, self-care goes beyond having beauty appointments, exercising or traveling.
It is giving importance to what is essential, for example: Maintaining a balanced diet where what prevails are healthy foods that provide us with nutrients, giving importance to sleeping well and practicing sleep hygiene where the fundamental thing is rest, is giving importance to Take care of our thoughts and the way we talk to ourselves, what we consume, see and say to others.
Finally, to understand that investing time and effort in learning new skills, doing new activities and promoting mental self-care to stay calm by taking care of the way we spend our minutes will improve our physical but especially mental health.
