Memories of the WBC 59th Convention: Canelo and Makabu met for the first time
The World Boxing Council held its 59th annual Convention last week at the beautiful Presidente Intercontinental Hotel in Mexico City.
This great event was full of memorable moments; however, one of the most exciting happened at the Grand Closure, as the undisputed super middleweight champion, Saúl “Canelo” Álvarez cordially met and greeted the WBC cruiserweight champion, Ilunga Makabu, who will be his next rival.
