Magnesi Vs Rikiishi on March 22

On March 22, Italian Michael Magnesi will defend his World Boxing Council Silver super featherweight title against Japan`s Masanori Rikiishi, at the Palace Of Sports Alfredo Romboli in Colleferro, Italy.

Magnesi aims for a resounding victory, which would bring him significantly closer to competing for the coveted Green and Gold Belt, against Absolute Champion Texan O’Shaquie Foster.

Magnesi aged 29, will have to deal with fearsome southpaw Rikiishi from Nagoya. With only one defeat in his career, and unbeaten since 2018, he`s currently ranked number 5 in the WBC, one position above Magnesi.

Magnesi comes to this fight after defeating the Colombian Nike Theran in October. While Masanori arrives after knocking out Panamanian Ricardo Nuñez in three rounds last June.
