As part of the campaigns developed with WBC Cares, KO bullying clinic was successfully presented in the municipality of Villa del Carbón, Pueblo Nuevo.
This is a remote community with limited resources that has only one Secondary School for the entire population.
The purpose of this session was to raise awareness in more than 120 students since young people are exposed to being aggressors, victims, or witnesses to it. Bullying is a social problem from which no one is exempt.
WBC Cares, through its ambassadors, provides guidance on what to do when faced with an act of bullying, in addition to the consequences that exist for those involved. For his part, Miguel Ángel González, former WBC World Champion, spoke about his achievements in boxing through his life experience.
“The biggest battle has been with myself, I am currently in rehabilitation and I fight day by day with addictions and stay alive.”
With total success, emotion, and participation of all attendees, more than 130 secondary school students and teachers were involved. Thanks to Secondary School #0368 Antonio Ma.Bucareli for opening the doors to us and leaving a positive message in each of its students.
There was also a question session and a dynamic inviting the students to practice boxing punches, face fear, and chat with the ambassadors of the program.
To conclude, the students received WBC Cares Gift Kits..
