As part of the campaigns developed by WBC Cares, a KO bullying was successfully presented at the Tamachi Secondary School 202 in the Álvaro Obregón Mayor’s Office.
The purpose of this session was to raise awareness among the more than 70 third-grade students, since young people are the most exposed to this complex social problem.
WBC Cares, through its ambassadors, provides guidance on what to do when faced with an act of bullying, in addition to the consequences that exist for those involved.
Champion Mary “La Explosiva” Villalobos talked about her achievements in boxing through her life experience, and mentioned how through sport she managed to raise her self-esteem, lose weight and learn to defend herself since she suffered bullying in school. primary “Boxing changed my life.”
With enthusiasm and fun from more than 70 secondary school students and teachers, this session was successfully completed.
We especially thank 202 Tamachtiani Secondary School for opening its doors to WBC Cares and leaving a positive message for each of its students.
We ended with questions and a dynamic where the students were invited to practice boxing punches, face fear, and interact closely with the ambassadors of the program. Mousepads with the WBC logo were also delivered as a WBC Cares gift to the students.
