World Boxing Council super flyweight champion, Mexican Juan Francisco “Gallo” Estrada, will defend his title in a long-awaited highly anticipated rematch against his compatriot and former world champion, Carlos “Príncipe” Cuadras (39-3-1, 27 KOs), this Friday October 23, at the TV Azteca Studios, in Mexico City.
Juan Francisco “Gallo” Estrada (40-3 27 KOs) will be making the second defense of his WBC title, after prizing it from the sturdy hands of Thai, Srisaket Sor Rungvisai, with an absolutely brilliant performance in Los Angeles in April of last year.
“Gallo” and “Principe” fought in September 2017, and Estrada defeated Cuadras with a close decision.
This Thursday the official weigh-in of the card took place. Both warriors, who tipped 114.5 pounds, are more than ready to step into the ring.
