Historic Promoters Meeting in Mexico City

In what was a historic afternoon for Mexican boxing, more than a dozen promoters met  to create communication bridges thus generate important actions towards the development of professional boxing in Mexico.

The meeting took place today, April 11, 2024, at the Bosques Businessmen Club of Mexico City as part of a proposal from the World Boxing Council led by Mauricio Sulaimán Saldivar.

This historic event had the purpose of strengthening, improving and creating labor relations, promoting boxing in the metropolitan area, presenting cards in all Mexico and defining actions to bring people the fights that people want to see.

The meeting concluded with an atmosphere of camaraderie, respect and cordiality, and with the promise of generating short and medium-term actions that will strengthen the sport of professional boxing, improve the conditions of the fighters and present cards of the highest level.
