Haney brilliantly conquers WBC super lightweight crown 

At the Chase Center, San Francisco, California, Devin Haney dominated Regis Prograis in his debut at the super lightweight, in winning the WBC 140-pound championship.

The taller, faster Haney dictated pace and range. He dropped Prograis with a pinpoint straight right in the third round and consistently landed the crisper punches in a fight, that was much easier than his previous appearance against Lomachenko.

 Judges Rey Danesco, Mike Ross and Fernando Villarreal each scored it 120-107.

Haney (31-0, 15 KOs), who spent his childhood in Oakland now  resides in Henderson, Nevada. He’s now won his second world title in a second category.

Prograis (29-2, 24 KOs), former champion originally from New Orleans lost for the second time in his career.
