Grand Mexican National Amateur Green and Gold Tournament at the Otomí Ceremonial Center THIS FRIDAY!

During the traditional “Coffee Tuesday”  Juan Monroy  offered all the details of the “Green and Gold” National Tournament that will start this coming Friday, March 15 at the emblematic Otomí Ceremonial Center.

The charismatic organizer of the tournament was delighted with all the work that has been done previously, an effort that he classified as titanic but that he assures was completely worth it, since the tournament will have the participation of almost 500 children and youth boxers and 22 ring officials.

He explained that a large part of the challenge has been to be able to bring together all the boxers from the 17 states of the Mexican Republic who will be participating this weekend and at this point he thanked in a very special way Juan José Herrera, president of the State of Mexico Boxing Commission as it not only helped them manage everything to have the majestic Otomí Ceremonial Center as their headquarters but also to coordinate the logistics and the ring officials organization.

He added that due to the large number of participants they will be forced to start a day earlier but that the dynamics will be the same, direct qualifiers until reaching the grand final on Sunday.

Thrilled to see this project about to be crystallized, into which he has put his whole heart, Monroy sincerely thanked everyone who in one way or another has joined this dream, including the sports brand Seyer, who helped with the uniforms, masks, gloves and all ring clothing.

Likewise, he extended his gratitude to Mr. Mauricio Sulaimán and the WBC team, who have been a key element in making this project come to fruition.

Finally, he urged everyone to follow this great Green and Gold tournament very closely because the next world champions will emerge from here.
