Gloves and Doves – Fight for Peace takes in Israel

On April 26 at Ronson School on Mountain Isfiya in Israel, another edition of Gloves and Doves – Fight for Peace with an amateur tournament supported by the WBC.

With these kinds of events, all people, regardless of their gender, religion or socioeconomic level, have equal opportunities to develop their potential. The sport of boxing is used to promote socio- economic mobility and build a shared society.

Through Gloves and Doves, Jewish and Arab youth gain the life skills, self-confidence, and means to pursue their dreams and build a better future together.

Boxing is unique in that it fosters respect among its competitors. This sport is a way for Jewish and Arab children to form lifelong friendships with each other.

This boxing program integrates children from diverse religious backgrounds.

The mission is to promote peace and understanding between Jews and Arabs, Israelis and Palestinians through boxing.
