This Friday at the Pala Cosmelli in Livorno, Italy, Italian fighter Federico “Super” Gassani, won the prestigious World Boxing Council Mediterranean light heavyweight title, by defeating tough Croatian fighter, Bruno Knjezevic, by decision.

The fight was very entertaining, with both demonstrating that they were in great shape, but Gassani’s greater skills,  made the difference on the judges’ scorecards.

The supervisor of this fight was Vice President of the WBC, Houcine Houichi.
