The main aim of the WBC-VADA program, apart from tests, is to educate the athletes about the very dangers and pitfalls of doping, in addition to the penalties for testing positive, concerning prohibited substances, in or out of competition.
The program has been planned, designed and developed with countless hours of hard detailed work and dedication from many members of the WBC and VADA and is basically divided into 3 main objectives:
Prevention: To educate and clearly warn boxers about the dangers of the substances and the tragic effects they may have. This is done through tutorials, seminars, forums and web seminars
Random tests out of competition
