Erick Badillo Wins WBC Light Flyweight Silver Tile via fifth round TKO
In an a very exciting night of boxing in Jalisco, Mexico’s City Erick Badillo crowned himsell World Boxing Council Light Flyweight Silver Monarch by defeating the previously unbeaten Neyder Valdez from Monterrey by technical knockout in the fifth round.
From the first round, both showed great determination to win with a willingness to come forward and grasp for victory.

In the third, Neyder Valdez came out with more purpose, highlighting his left hook, to win the round.
In the fourth, Erick Badillo re-emerged strongly and landed a crunching left hook to the liver that Neyder bravely assimilated.
In the fifth, Badillo slammed in a power driving combination with no response from Neyder,. Referee Javier Peña decided to stop the fight. The winner was Erick Badillo.
With this performance, Erick Badillo establishes himself as one of the best Mexican light flyweight prospects and improved his undefeated record to 13-0 with 5 KO’s.
