On Friday, July 19, Venezuelan Carlos ¨Triple C¨ Cañizales will face Mexican Iván García for the Silver light flyweight title of the World Boxing Council.
This bout will be the main combat in the return of an international card to Venezuela and in the emblematic Poliedro of Caracas.
It should be noted that it will be under the promotion of Jorge Fernández and Williams Pérez, and will also have the supervision of the Venezuelan National Professional Boxing Commission.
Caracas fighter Carlos Antonio Cañizales, will enter the ring for the second time this year, after losing in January by majority decision against the Japanese, Kenshiro Teraji (23-1).
Born in Ixtapaluca, Mexico, Iván García will return to Venezuela after his controversial draw for the WBC international title against the local, Rodrigo Ramírez at the end of 2023. He won in April, by unanimous decision against his compatriot, Pedro Delgado Gaytan (10-1). Fasten your belts…it`s going to be a bumpy night!
