Bohachuk Conquers WBC Interim Super Welterweight Belt

Serhii Bohachuk impressively defeated Brian Mendoza, on the Tim Tszyu-Sebastian Fundora undercard in the Premier Boxing Champions’ inaugural Amazon Prime event, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

With this victory Bohachuk (23-1, 23 knockouts) conquered the WBC interim super welterweight championship. Bohachuk broke down Mendoza  round after round, using his jab, reinforced by the left hooks and right uppercuts.

Mendoza, gave of his very best as the absolute warrior he is, nicking some of the later rounds. However,  it was not enough to defeat the new Ukrainian Star.

Judges Glenn Feldman, Don Trella and  Steve Weisfeld scored it 118-110 and 2X 117-111 all for Serhii Bohachuk.
