Big Pro Box TV Launch in Mexico City

At “Coffee Tuesdays”, WBC President Mauricio Sulaimán, promoter Pepe Gómez, the former world champions and legendary fighters, Mexican Juan Manuel Márquez, Puerto Rican Miguel Ángel Cotto and the American Roy Jones Jr., officially presented Pro Box TV, global professional boxing streaming and media company.

The Pro Box TV company was created this year by Garry Jonas, in association with the former world champions and it aims to bring fans a totally different experience through this platform, with which they bring the best fights closer to true boxing fans.

ProBox TV is a new source of premium boxing content. It will offer live events and robust supporting content, brought by founders, former champions Roy Jones Jr, Miguel Cotto, Juan Manuel Marquez, Antonio Tarver and Paul Malignaggi

All of them are fully focused on giving fans the benefit of their wisdom via experience.

Promoter Pepe Gómez added that Pro Box TV will make its first foray into our country, choosing the city of Cancun as the launch point, as he recalled that this paradisiacal place has been closely linked to boxing and of course the WBC, hosting several WBC Conventions for both men’s and women’s boxing. Cancun also staged a WBC world heavyweight title fight.

In this great launch of Pro Box TV, the boxing card that will take place on October 23 at the Convention Center of this tourist destination was also announced, with which Pro Box TV will start activities in Mexico.

The partners and founders of this great project Roy Jones Jr., Márquez, Cotto, Antonio Tarver and Paul Malignaggi, are extremely excited to see this dream crystallized, and to be able to take it to all corners of the world, as they plan to broadcast their boxing nights internationally with the aim of presenting the best exponents, as well as the new generation of boxing.

Finally, and as is customary with the WBC when we have guests of this level, the President of the WBC presented Roy Jones jr. Miguel Cotto, Juan Manuel Márquez and Pipino Cuevas the world champion bracelet so that they always remember the love and admiration that the boxing family has for them.
