Beterbiev vs. Bivol postponed

The eagerly-awaited light heavyweight unification fight between Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol was postponed due to a knee injury suffered by Beterbiev.

The promoter Top Rank announced the news through social networks in which it detailed that Beterbiev suffered a torn meniscus during one of his training sessions, so this fight will have to wait.

It was originally scheduled for Saturday, June 1 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at the Kingdom Arena, but a date is being sought at the end of the year, according to Top Rank.
