All set to celebrate a Great 59th WBC convention in Mexico City

With anticipation, the President of the WBC, Mr. Mauricio Sulaimán, announced at the “Coffee Tuesday” conference that the celebration of the 59th annual convention that will take place in CDMX is just a few days. Despite starting on November 14, the activities will start on Friday with the Rankings Committee.

For the WBC´s leader, this Convention will be extremely special because after not being able to meet in person at Convention 58 due to the pandemic in 2021 we will finally be able to have a Convention in person to continue working for boxing but above all to celebrate life.

He announced that even though a large participation is expected, meticulous precautionary and security protocols will be followed to safeguard the health of all.

He added that full vaccination will be mandatory to attend and participate, in addition to that all events and places will have health and hygiene protocols.

 He recalled the seven conventions that have been held in Mexico, all of them unique and very special, and promised that this meeting will be uniquely distinguish itself. 

Mauricio Sulaimán revealed some of the stars that will gather including:  Jermell and Jermall Charlo, Floyd Mayweather, Sugar Ray Leonard, Roberto Duran, Julio César Chávez, Mario “Azabache” Martínez to mention a few.

He finally invited everyone to be part of this great event and saying that great surprises are coming.
