The WBC Silver heavyweight champion, the Nigerian Efe Ajagba, will defend his title against the Italian Guido Vianello, this Saturday, April 13 at the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Ajagba (19-1, 14 KOs), originally from Ughelli, Nigeria and now a resident of Stafford, Texas, stopped prospect Joseph Goddall in the fourth round of his last fight on Nov. 4.
Vianello arrives after defeating Moses Johnson in the first round. The 29-year-old has won his last two fights since he lost by knockout to Jonathan Rice on January 14 of last year.
In the other main event on the card, undefeated heavyweight phenom Jared “The Real Big Baby” Anderson will look for another big knockout when he faces Belgian contender Ryad Merhy.
This Friday the official weigh-in of the card took place, leaving everything ready for these exciting heavyweight fights.
The card will air live on ESPN (10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT).
