Saturday night, Puerto Rican Amanda Serrano will defend her undisputed featherweight championship against Heather Hardy of the United States at the American Airlines Arena in Dallas, Texas.
This fight presented by Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) and Real Fight Inc., will be part of the card where Jake Paul will face Nate Diaz.
Serrano is coming off a huge win in April against Erika Cruz to win the pioneering body’s belt. Following that win, she had signed on for a rematch against Katie Taylor but injury forced her to pull out of the fight.
After a period of recovery, she is ready to return to the ring at 126 pounds and she will do so against Hardy, a rival she knows well.
The North American already faced Serrano in 2019 and although she lost by unanimous decision, she left good impressions.
She arrives on a two-win streak and with all the motivation possible, knowing that a victory could take her to the top of the division.
Both passed the official weigh-in of the evening. Serrano checked in at 124.6 pounds, while Hardy stopped the scale at 125.8 pounds.
The event will be distributed globally by DAZN, and can also be seen in the United States on ESPN+.
