1965.- In an excellent fight between Italian warriors, Nino Benvenuti knocked out Sandro Mazzinghi in the sixth round in Milan, Italy. In this fight the WBC super welterweight title was at stake.

2008.- At the Saphan Hin in Phuket, Thai Oleydong Sithsamerchai defended his WBC straw-weight title, knocking out Japanese Junichi Ebisuoka in the ninth round.

2011.- Mexican Saúl “Canelo” Álvarez defended his WBC super welterweight title by knocking out the Englishman Ryan Rhodes in the twelfth round, in a fight held in Tlajomulco, Jalisco, Mexico.

2022.- Canadian Artur Beterbiev knocked out American Joe Smith Jr. in the second round in New York. With this victory Beterbiev defended his WBC light heavyweight title.
