The ABU held its annual meeting at the WBC convention

The African Boxing Union held its annual meeting during the 60th World Boxing Council convention, held in Acapulco, Guerrero, Mexico.

Maureen Mugangira, ABU Secretary General, Dr Peter Ngatane, ABU Vice President and Houcine Houichi, ABU President and WBC Vice President were present.

The African Boxing Union is a non-profit regional sanctioning body that awards titles in the African region. It is a boxing federation belonging to the World Boxing Council, being affiliated since 1974.
