A splash of vivid colour and a masterful design of a WBC shirt fit for the 59th Convention, via the workshop of talented graphic designer Eduardo de La Cruz.
The first World Boxing Council Convention in two years due to the Pandemic, was held at the Hotel Presidente Intercontinental in Mexico City. Eduardo who is famed for his boxing clothing designs, created a superb and unique design incorporating everything which symbolizes the greatness of Mexico. The focal point on the shirt is the WBC Green and Gold Belt and the Angel of Independence, which is one of the iconic monuments of Mexico City, holding a pair of boxing gloves, with the Mexican National Flag flying in the background, plus the Mexican Callander.
Eduardo said: “In doing this I tried to express my love for my country, and when I knew that the WBC Convention was taking place in Mexico City, it was a great designing opportunity for me. So many people are taking my shirts all around the world. There has been a great response. The people love my work.”
