Next WBC Convention in Kazakhstan

The World Boxing Council has concluded its fifty ninth Convention, which was held in Mexico City, with a flourish, thanking more than a thousand people who attended.

The Convention at the Presidente Intercontinental Hotel in Polanco was meticulously arranged observing all of the medical and hygiene protocols, with a covid testing system working each and every day, to insure all remained safe.

The next Convention will be held in Kazakhstan in Central Asia.  The fact that this one was achieved was truly remarkable given the magnitude of the pandemic and all of its daunting challenges.

At the closing ceremony, World Boxing Council President Mauricio Sulaiman thanked the Board of Governors saying: “How much I appreciate your work and your loyalty, which makes the WBC the organization that it is.”

Mauricio also said that it was far from easy to organize this Convention in exceptionally difficult circumstances and lavished praise on the sensational round the clock work of each and every member of the staff of the WBC, who succeeded, excelled, and then went the extra mile to create triumph.  All of the staff was invited to come up on to the stage to have a group photo with Saul Canelo Alvarez, who also congratulated them.  He`s the best pound for pound. They are the best overally with their tons of enthusiasm!
