Beterbiev vs Deines postponed

Top Rank Promotions through his social networks, announces  that the clash between WBC Light heavyweight champion, Artur Beterbiev vs. Adam Deines had to be postponed after the Russian world champion suffered an injury while training.

“WBC/IBF Light Heavyweight world champion Artur Beterbiev´s Oct. 23 title defense against Adam Deines has postponed after Beterbiev suffered a rib injury in training. Beterbiev-Deines is expected to be re-scheduled before the end of the year.”

Top Rank shared this via Twitter.

Bertbiev has not been able to fight since dethroning Oleksandr Gvodzyk of Ukraine on October 18 last year. He was supposed to face Chinese contender Meng Fanlong on March 28th. However, due to the pandemic it had to be postponed.
