Save the Date; The WBC 58^th  Convention in St. Petersburg takes place in August!

St. Petersburg is the magnificent location for the World Boxing Council`s fifty eighth Convention.

Founded in 1703, it`s considered one of the most beautiful cities in the world and has developed as a crucially important economic, cultural and scientific hub for Russia, Europe and the entire world.

A cascading combination of culture, tradition, history and modernity,  that this year becomes the proud host venue for the annual Convention of the World Boxing Council, from August 23 to 30.

We have decided to celebrate our Convention in Russia this year, in order  to coincide with the 75th anniversary of the victory in World War II, as Russia changed global destiny, with dynamism and at the cost of great sacrifice.  It is  important to remind the whole world of the greatness, perseverance  as well as  courage of the Russian people,  and the importance of maintaining world peace.

For the World Boxing Council it is vital to provide  all people an opportunity to know and learn more about a great sport, and what better opportunity than the annual Convention, an event that in addition to aligning  a constellation of stars,  pioneers via medical clinics, reviews world rankings, appointments official challengers for each champion in the 17 divisions, holds seminars for ring officials develops, enriches and innovates  boxing, always primarily focusing on the health,  respect plus well being of the boxer.

This exquisite city promises to make Convention 58 a unique event,  which  will combine and bond the elite of Boxing.  Our hosts are preparing an array of  extraordinary surprises in St. Petersburg, the city of The Great, which will dazzle and enrapture, to create.
