The Clean Boxing Program which started in September 2016 and was initially applied only to male fighters, today is a reality for women’s boxing, being mandatory for all of our women world champions and the first five ranked fighters.
WBC female middleweight champion, and super bantamweight champion, Claressa Shields and Fatuma Zarika, have already enrolled in the CBP, as an example for all other fighters. Their action speaks volumes about their belief in and respect for our beloved sport.
