1965.- At the Araneta Coliseum in Barangay Cubao, Quezon City, Philippines, local fighter Gabriel Elorde knocked out Japanese Teruo Kosaka in 15 rounds, defending his WBC super bantamweight title.

1975.- Japanese Ishimatsu Suzuki defended his WBC lightweight title by defeating Mexican Turi Pineda by decision, in Osaka, Japan.

1989.- Mexican Gilberto Román defended his WBC super flyweight title, defeating Puerto Rican Juan Carazo by decision, defending his WBC super flyweight title, at the Great Western Forum in Inglewood, California.

1992.- At the Palais des Sports in Marseille, Australian Jeff Harding knocked out Frenchman Christophe Tiozzo in 8 rounds, defending his WBC light heavyweight title.

1999.- At the Grand Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi, Roy Jones Jr. defended his WBC light heavyweight title by defeating Reggie Johnson by decision.

2004.- At the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Jose Luis Castillo defended his WBC lightweight title by defeating Juan Lazcano by decision.

2004.- In a fight between Americans, Bernard Hopkins defeated Robert Allen by decision, in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this fight the WBC middleweight title was at stake.

2004.- Italian Cristian Sanavia was crowned WBC super middleweight champion by defeating German Markus Beyer by decision. The match took place at the Chemnitz Arena in Germany.

2022.- American Devin Haney defended his WBC lightweight title by defeating Australian George Kambosos Jr. by decision. The fight took place at the Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, Australia.
