Super Flyweight Champion of the World Boxing Council, Juan Francisco “Gallo” Estrada, will face the undefeated former champion Jesse “Bam” Rodríguez, in the main fight of a card that will take place on June 29, at the Footprint Center, in Phoenix, Arizona.
Rodríguez (19-0, 12 Kos) comes into this fight after scoring a great victory by knocking out Sunny Edwards in nine rounds to unify the flyweight titles.
“Bam” decided to move back up to 115 pounds, a division he already dominated, to challenge one of the best fighters today, WBC champion Francisco “Gallo” Estrada.
Estrada (44-3, 28 KOs) is recognized for the great combats he has fought, which include memorable battles with Román “Chocolatito” González from Nicaragua.
Rodríguez, a 24-year-old left-hander from San Antonio, Texas, is doing great preparation, as he knows the quality of champion Estrada.
