1975.- The legendary Muhammad Ali knocked out Ron Lyle in the eleventh round in Las Vegas, Nevada, defending his WBC heavyweight title.
1977.- In an entertaining match, legendary North American champion Muhammad Ali defended his WBC heavyweight title by defeating Uruguayan Alfredo Evangelista by decision. The bout took place in Landover, Maryland.
1987.- At the Salle René-Tys in Reims, France, Argentine Santos Laciar knocked out Mexican Gilberto Román in 11 rounds. In this fight the WBC super flyweight title was at stake.
1998.- At the Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio, California, Erik “Terrible” Morales knocked out Jose Luis Bueno in the second round, defending his WBC super bantamweight title.
2009.- In a great fight, Italian Giacobbe Fragomeni drew with Polish Krsyzstof Wlodarczyk, in Rome, Italy. In this fight the WBC cruiserweight title was at stake.
2015.- Nicaraguan Román “Chocolatito” González knocked out Mexican Edgar Sosa in the second round in Inglewood, California. In this fight the WBC flyweight title was at stake.
