2010.- In a great fight between Mexicans, Humberto “Zorrita” Soto defeated Ricardo “Pelón” Dominguez by decision, defending his WBC lightweight title. The combat took place in Los Mochis, Sinaloa.

2021.- American Brandon Figueroa conquered the WBC super bantamweight title, by knocking out Mexican Luis “Pantera” Nery in the seventh round. The match took place in Carson, California.
